Life in Lyari
Lyari is a famous and oldest area of Karachi city. Stories regarding violence, gang wars, drug mafia would be majorly highlighted in all over the world, but this would not be exact case for any residential society for sure. There would be some group of people who make hell from Lyari in complete city, but other innocent people spend their whole life there too with their families and if it is not the case then our security forces should have been finished the Lyari case well before.
Many professionals from almost all industries are living in Lyari and spending their life under life threatening and insecure environment. Students are not able to study, to take exams due to uncertain situation on almost everyday of week. Recently matriculation exam of Mathematics was cancelled due to Lyari violence on 27 April 2012 was a great example of disturbance in student life. Secondly, youth living in Lyari do not have bright vision due to obvious reasons. Because for bright vision, future and life you need a healthy living environment. Living environment effects on the growth of youth by several ways such as mentally illness, limited thinking power, no decision making, no validation or verification and etc.
We should consider innocent, common and neutral natives of Lyari. How they live? How they spend their day and night with threat of either security forces attack or gang war attack? How they survive with no electricity, water and gas? There would be several options to secure their life and future, but target is obviously something else behind the Lyari violence.
We recommend our security forces, NGOs and other relevant authorities to save the Lyari. So lets be positive and share your concerns, feedback, suggestion in comment section. You can also connect us through RSS, Facebook & Twitter.
Cheating in Exams – Stop ruining your life now
Right now secondary education exam season is in progress in Pakistan. You must also be aware with the cheating involvement in this procedure. Almost any city of Pakistan has the cheating trend on exams irrespective to level of qualification or examination such as cheating on exams from basic education to higher education is a common thing for us.
Let’s take secondary education examination from Karachi board, almost all news channel has already published their concerns with red proofs regarding cheating activities of students, parents, and invigilators. We would consider to avoid the discussion regarding cheating in higher education examination, because students at higher education are more mature and realize the outcomes, but the core question we want to highlight that “Do our students know that what they are doing with their lives by cheating in their basic exams?” Answer would be in negative. Yes majority of our students from secondary education level do not even know the meaning and purpose of examinations.
Our students do not realize that examinations are held to judge their abilities to progress further in their lives. Forget students actually, parents get more interested to facilitate their kids in cheating activity by paying for it, by arranging their resources through PR and majority of time by motivating them through examination’s experiences. Cheating stuff also make things worst for genuine students, who put real efforts for exams, who work hard to prove their abilities and preparedness towards life and learned subjects.
Actually we also blame our complete education system for this, which includes Government policies, School systems, Education authorities, Students and Parents. The thing is very clear and realized by many of us that cheating in examinations lead us towards the failure only. If you are involved or motivate cheating on exams then please stop it and realize that you are making fool of yourself.

Most 5 Kind of Affected People After Violence in Karachi
Law and order situation in Karachi is not a new issue. We see flood of breaking news on TV channels regarding the target killing activities in Karachi. But question is that who’s getting the impact by such kind of incidents? Who’s life is changing? None of our news channel or other official media streams provide coverage to real affected people after violence incidents in Karachi? So let us highlight some of them with short story as we learned:
1) Labor based on daily wages
Probably you have a job on the agreement of monthly fixed salary like us, but do you know that how many labor exists in Karachi who’s lives are based on their daily job? Violence in Karachi leads all local marketplace to shutdown, so have you ever think that how they pass their full day without money? No, right? Think about them please.
2) Auto rickshaw drivers
Whether violence after killing of #ANP or #MQM, poor auto rickshaw driver gets worst effect. Miscreants burn their auto rickshaws, which is only way to earn and feed their families. We ask to miscreants that why rickshaw drivers? Do they behind the killing of workers from political parties? Do we know that burning one auto rickshaw means you are killing one complete family of that driver? No, right? Think about them please.
3) Public & private passengers
Second usual thing after violence incidents we see traffic jam on almost all roads in the city and due to it several people face difficulties to reach their destinations. While stuck in traffic jam people also face mobile snatching incidents. We simply ask what is the reason to tease any professional who want to go their offices or reach at home after working hard? Does anyone think about them before planning the violence events in Karachi? Does they kill anyone? No, right? Think about them please.
4) Students
Students get affects by several dimensions due to violence in Karachi such as transport, schedule change from authorities and etc. Now education authorities announce public holidays for students while violence occurs in Karachi, but question is that announcing the public holiday is a good decision? No, right? Think about them please.
5) Emergency patients
If you ever stuck in traffic jam while violence is going in Karachi, you must heard ambulance noises. Mostly ambulances try to reach the affected area, but sometimes they bring some patient to hospital for emergency heeling. But we do not consider it at all. No, right? Think about them please.
We must be missing other affected people, but above are more common among them. So lets be positive and share your concerns, feedback, suggestion in comment section. You can also connect us through RSS, Facebook & Twitter.
Women harassment in Pakistan
Women harassment in Pakistan is critical and major issue. We read about it on news on daily basis. Cases from women rape to hooting are available for further proof. Even Oscan winning movie like Saving Face is a recent claim of Women harassment in Pakistan. We all know that harassment issues exists in our Pakistan and none of us can have a doubt on it. The main concern is now what to do to protect the Women in Pakistan? Who is primarily and secondary responsible? What are the ways to resolve the pre and post harassment issues in Pakistan? Lets first clear out that harassment does not always mean sexual harassment. It would be physical and logical tortures, stress from family, working environments and sometimes friends. Read one example of women harassment here.
In recent survey we found that majority of women are harassed by officials in Pakistan such as police men, government clerks and even high rank positions gains the benefits of situation with women in compulsion. If you ever visit to local hospital you can see harassment examples with nurses and hospital officials and sometimes patients. If you ever visit to local schools, colleges, and universities you can harassment examples with female students and teachers by their seniors. Similarly you can see several examples around you in Pakistan.
Primarily government is responsible to these acts, but on the other end individual is also responsible to harass the women. Men from husband to son, teacher to student, kid to old age people are involved in women harassment. We should finally think about it and do something. There are several civil and other acts laws exists in Pakistan, but our law implementers are also involved to harass them Women. We individually should try to eliminate this issue from our nation. Claps for Saving Face & Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy
Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy made Oscar history late Sunday, as she became the first Pakistani to win the coveted award for her documentary film Saving Face. Chinoy’s triumph is, rightly, being celebrated with much vigour and the country’s prime minister has announced the highest civilian award for the filmmaker.
Chinoy’s story regarding acid attack victims punished by men and are then giver reconstructive surgery by a British surgeon beat the competitor’s documentaries like Japan’s deadly tsunami and Iraq war. Saving Face touched the several hearts by highlighting the most critical issue of women in Pakistan on global level.
Recently in Pakistan, a bill was passed against such acts of violence against women, last month. While the bill has been hailed as a great achievement, it remains to be seen how effective it will be in restricting violence against women. We do not know that will this Oscar win and the subsequent attention on the subject, help bring an end to such barbaric acts? While it is unfortunate that it took such a humiliating subject to bring Pakistan its first Oscar, is Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy’s Oscar win the biggest moment in the history of Pakistan’s arts and entertainment industry?
Other filmmakers should realize Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy as their role models and super heroes, so more relevant deliverable can be produced by Pakistanis. So lets be positive and share your concerns, feedback, suggestion in comment section. You can also connect us through RSS, Facebook & Twitter.

Please stop staring
Lets agree with us that our majority of Pakistani men have a staring problem. Either we sit on seven star hotel or waiting room of hospital we stare the women. We give very hard time to even women’s ten minutes walk from bus stop to her house irrespective to her dressing, her job and even her physical appearance.
Men from local labors to professionals, university students to school students and even old age people are found involved in staring situation. Women from school girls to university girls, maids to professionals and even hijab wearing ladies are victims of staring problem. Majority of women in Pakistan are victim of staring problem and might be smiling right now by reading this article. Nurses, school teachers, students, are big part of staring scene.
There are several relevant problems, which can not be resolved ever in our nation. But by improvising individual views and civilization we can minimize the risk for women specially working women. Similarly if we move anywhere else in this world we behave like a good kid and follow all civil and moral ethics, so why not in our own nation? It is very sad that how we rape our civilization and culture values. Promise us and your nation that you will bring positive change in Pakistan by minimizing the threats of staring scene and you will respect the women.

What to do when Pakistan loose a cricket match?
You must be aware that Cricket is not just a game in Pakistan, it is something beyond religion and seriously this should not be a scenario here in this case. We Pakistanis are already famous for our emotions and attitude. When Pakistan cricket team wins then we celebrate victory with full joy, we announce public holidays, we greets each other, and even some crazy fans distributes sweets to their mohllas (areas). But what when Pakistan cricket team loose even a single match? Unfortunately none of us we have patience to absorb the lost in case of cricket, because we never take it as a “GAME”.
We spread our hateful attitude, behavior when Pakistan cricket team loose the match. We crack disgusting jokes about our national players, we use slang words regarding the management or playing eleven of Pakistan cricket team, we applies betting claims against our national heroes and If lost is against India or any other rival country then we show our violence by burning tiers, traffic jams and even strikes on several platforms. What shows this? It simply shows that Cricket is not just a “GAME” in Pakistan.
We all must know our and others rights, we must realize that Pakistan cricket team depends on human beings not machines, we must realize that players would have a bad day. We do not ask to stop protesting against losses or bad performance and team management, but there should be some way to do it formally and there is! We only need to ensure our follow up on it. We should submit our protest through proper channel like we just did in case of “Maya Khan” case?

Why we did not support Arfa Karim?
If you do not know that who is Arfa Karim, she became youngest Microsoft Certified Professional at the age of 9 when she cleared certification exams back in 2004. Recently Arfa Karim at 16 is suffering from a serious medical condition after a heart attack on December 28, 2011. Since past two and three months family of Arfa Karim is seeking the help from Government of Pakistan. But Bill Gates, the chairman of Microsoft, has reportedly approached parents of Arfa Karim to offer her treatment in United States at billionaire’s expense.
We appreciate Bill Gates to show the sympathy and do some action for very talented girl of Pakistan, but on other end we ask our authorities that why they did not help Arfa Karim? Does treatment of Arfa Karim is very expensive? Does Pakistan not have any sufficient resources for the treatment of such a talented girl? These kind of questions are now raising fingers towards the relevant authorities and seek the answers.
We all know the situation of our Government, but other agencies such as IT ministry, NGOs, Social workers and Celebrities also did not respond to the request of the father of Arfa Karim. Our leaders flies to foreign hospitals for routine medical checkups, but no funds for Arfa? Let us clear that if we do not respect or care our assets then they will not be ours! We have seen a huge rallies and protests in Pakistan for Aafia from different group of authorities, but where they are all for Arfa? Isn’t it clearly describes the purpose of all those protests in past? We simply say that if we do not consider Arfa as Pakistan’s asset then we should not expect her to stay in Pakistan and make this nation better!

Do your kids use internet irrespective to purpose? If yes then we ask to all parents that are their kids safe on internet? Do you know that there is a high priority threat over the internet for your kids.
Internet is an open world where anyone can retrieve any information from the internet. Even we loose the innocence of our kids if we do not consider their safety on internet.
Let us share that in 2012 kids in Pakistan are no more kids. In age of 10 to 15 they lost their innocence and comes under adult category. For example slang words are more common in our kids, our kids know what an adult movie is, our kids realize that how to make girl friend and etc.
It is necessary to protect our kids from bad side of internet. There are number of tools and control available to ensure the parental control over the internet. We suggest you to consider this posts as an important warning to your kids regarding safety from internet.

Tracking of SC warnings in Pakistan
It is about Supreme Court’s warning regarding several issues in Pakistan. Lets pick any random newspaper after restoration of Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudry, you will find number of warning kind of news from SC regarding different issues. Such as today SC warned government of Pakistan for last chance in NRO case as The News Published.
We ask simple question that what happens after issuance of warning statements? Who tracks the record? Who follow up the matters? There should be some people who manage all this work, but are they genuine? Are they valid and well qualified? Are they trustworthy?
Lets raise your concern regarding tracking of SC warnings, so it is visible for a common people. If a common Pakistani can read SC warning issuance statement then other related information should also be available.
